From the Pages of my Diary....

NOTE : I do visit this post once in a blue moon to update the list

Live life to the fullest. The realisation of the meaning of this quote was only sometime ago. When there was craziness personified, when I ran fast and even faster, when I fell.

All I want is to fulfil it all within the "number  line." And hence, one day, I sit down and think. Think about what I want. Think only about myself. And then I come up with my to-do list.

It can be a fascination or a fantasy, but the fact is, although it was a dream, Alice actually landed up in Wonderland!

 

1. Join a cause.

Status:  Checked.

Location 1: Joined World Vision in 2012. It was disheartening to leave the NGO after some time. It is a to-do item that will always remain unchecked, even if checked.

Location 2: Delhi (2013).

Pinkathon (a marathon to spread awareness about breast cancer).

2. Rafting.

Status: Checked.

Because I fear moving waters, nothing could have been better.

Location: Pune. Kundalika River Rafting (2013).

3. Horse Riding.
Status: Checked.

I had acrophobia, and it actually helped, though I am not over it fully.

Location: MITS College (2009).

 

4. Bungee jumping.

Status: Doubtful!

 

5. A trip with the best people I know.

Status: Checked.

Location: Pune (2013), Mumbai (2014).

And then there were many more.. <3

6. Learn a dance form.

Status: In-progress for life

~ Surat (1997). Bharatnatyam.

~ MITS College (2011). Contemporary, Bollywood.

~ On my way to learning Semi-classical on Bollywood songs 

 

7. Learn guitar.

Status: Tried and failed and then gave up!

I did not enjoy playing Casio much, and playing Harmonium was a gift.

 

8. Own a car.

Status: Checked (2020) and then Unchecked! Such is life.

 

9. Buy a penthouse.

Status: Unchecked.

 

10. Visit Disneyland.

Status: Checked (2017).

 

11. Visit Paris just to shop.

Status: Unchecked. Visited Paris but just for a quick touristing (2017). 

12. Invest in the stock market.

Status: Checked (2023). Finally!

 

13. Read a minimum of 25 books in 2014.

Status: In-progress. 2014 is gone but I am still hopeful to tick this off some year!

14. Blogging.

Status: Checked.

2020 : Visited world's most beautiful vineyards at Cape town.

 

16. Live a day, Alice!.

Status: Unchecked.

Cut to 2024 : I don't recollect what this even meant back then!

 

The list may end here temporarily, and the status will be updated from time to time, but the dreams may continue. Fly high to go higher, and fly more high to stand and see beyond the highest!
