Alas! And the story Continues...

Recently, I came across a video (Mera Tharki India) made by a youngster on a very popular social networking site. His song conveyed that lighting candles and going on a protest won't help unless and until we change the mentality of the people here.

So?? Will his song or the caboodle of such communities on this agenda help solve this problem??? The answer is a big no because this is just another page with innumerous likes! In fact, before I point out others, even my write-up is not going to solve any issue. But as we say, "boond boond se hi sagar banta h!" I am doing my bit, and if every citizen does his', we may definitely come up with something better in the near future. 
"Doing my bit" implies 
1. Keeping my city clean by not throwing garbage on the streets just because everybody is throwing.
2. Trying to support a child's basic necessities of life by joining an NGO. Improve my own and the mentality of the people around me, and so on. 
3. Visiting an old age home and helping the elderly.
4. Educate poor children for free. We have many such societies in India.
5.... [and a lot more]!
~~ Wow! It feels so good even when I write, and in fact, I myself did not know that even an "aam aadmi" can do so much for a nation. 

If I sit and think, I can do a lot for my nation, which is at zero power, and if I sit and crib, I can do so for hours!

In the 21st century, the quote The pen is mightier than the sword works no more. Neither the songs nor the patriotic poems can stop the terror, violence, or rape cases that are reported so often these days. In India, every 20 minutes, rape cases occur. The mango people can do nothing but protest, candle march, abuse the government, sign petitions for justice, and so on. And the government bodies diplomatically calmed the crowd and promised to bring justice. And the story continues... History repeats itself and will continue to do so. The cycle of violence, protests, and injustice is ongoing and never-ending.

We will continue to protest and sign petitions, and as days pass, these petitions will fade.


"Protests"... Protests are also a form of violence~ for good. But that is the way we look at it. Who knows! Eventually, it may turn out to be violence for good. Good or bad, it all depends on how you look at it! Arrghhhh!! Its complicated! Anyway, that is not the motto of this topic. So ignore!

As usual, we will have numerous videos and communities like the one mentioned above (this is actually a good one with no impact on the audience, hence the emphasis on the alas part of the story!).
And as usual, I will continue to write blogs and crib about the non-Democratic system of my so-called Democratic society, but yes, at the same time, I will continue to do my bit!
